The Circus Act

Level: Early Intermediate (approximately RCM Level 4)
Description: Inspired by Marc-André Hamelin's Circus Gallup, this is a fun composition containing glissandi, arm clusters, and loads of chromatic scale passages.

Concert Suite from "The Polar Express"
Instrumentation: Piano 4-Hands
Level: Advanced (approximately RCM Level 8)
Description: Based on the concert suite by Alan Silvestri and Glen Ballard, this piano duet is a faithful transcription that closely reflects the original orchestral score.

Fireworks from Harry Potter
Instrumentation: Piano 4-Hands
Level: Elementary (approximately RCM Level 1)
Description: The background music which occurs during the firework scene created by Fred and George Weasley in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.

Rondo Capriccioso
Instrumentation: Two flutes and piano
Level: Advanced
Description: Originally a solo piano piece, I reimagined it as a trio. The flutes have a great dialogue with the opening melodies in the Andante section and then combine forces in the Rondo. The piano part still has some moments alone where it gets to shine too.

The Fate of Ophelia
Instrumentation: Piano 4-Hands
Level: Elementary (approximately RCM Preparatory A)
Description: The first minute of Fate of Ophelia arranged for two pianists at one piano. Both parts are written so students in studying Piano Adventures Level 1 or Piano Safari Level 1 can read well.

Witches and Wizards
Instrumentation: Piano 4-Hands
Level: Elementary (approximately RCM Level 3)
Description: Arranged from the original composition by Christine Donkin, this duet expands the piece for two pianists. A few additional measures were added to enhance interaction and create a more engaging collaborative experience while maintaining the charm of the original work.

Barcarolle
Instrumentation: Flute and Piano
Level: Advanced (approximately RCM Level 8)
Description: The original solo piano composition by Anatoly Lyadov arranged for flute and piano. Many of the melody notes of the piano part have been given to the flute as it lends itself quite well to this instrumentation.
